Parenting bicultural children
Japan With Kids - Forums:
Education in Japan:
Parenting bicultural children
By Lynne Parmenter on Sunday, January 25, 2004 - 2:52 pm:I am an Associate Professor at Waseda University, currently carrying out research into the education of bicultural children in Japanese schools. I am looking for parents of school-age children in Japan who would be willing to answer a questionnaire by e-mail. I would be very grateful if anyone willing to help could send their name and e-mail address to me at lynne@waseda.jp Thank you for your co-operation. Lynne Parmenter Note: I am using the term 'bicultural' to mean any child who lives with two (or more) cultures. This includes children who have parents of different cultures, as well as children who experience different cultures at home and at school.
