My 12 yr. old son would like to take electric guitar lessons. If anyone knows of an english speaking instructor in the Shibuya area, please let me know. He already has the guitar. Thanks in advance!

The Montessori School of Tokyo offers electric guitar lessons after school. The instructor speaks English and has taught for many years. I know that he also offers private lessons. I believe he also gives lessons at the RBR arts center also in Minami Azabu. You could rpbably contact either the school 03-5449-7067 or the art center 03-5475-6171

Guitar seems to be the latest fashion. I've been getting fliers in my mailbox for guitar classes recently. Here's one of the schools advertising, somewhat famous in Japan, the Niibori method. I think they do electric as well as acoustic (the basics are the same anyway).
