Would you recommend the school (two American kids, ages 7 and 10), or are there some concerns? By kookaburra on Thursday, March 7, 2002 - 10:38 am: My kids dont got to Aoba but from what I hear it is fairly formal and has a strong emphasis on the academic and much less focus on sport and creative/social development. Probably quite a change for your kids. I have never heard a bad word about ASIJ but it is a long trip on the school bus for young kids.
