By Mina on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 - 2:54 pm: Is Colostrum available as a health supplement in Japan? What is it called in Japansese and can anyone recommend a good brand?
By Nancy on Saturday, December 10, 2005 - 6:15 pm: What is Aloe Vera Juice called in Japanese? Where can I buy this in Japan?
By Lenemaia on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - 9:45 am:Hi, I was wondering if anyone know, if vitamins for children (from 1 year old and up) can be bought in Japan? If so, what's the name and where do I get them?? If not, does anyone know of a website that sells them and ships to Japan? Thanks!
By Sandy on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 - 11:22 pm:I use http://www.puritan.com/ to order vitamins, supplements, etc. from the USA. The packages come quickly (over Frankfurt!), and so far, knock on wood, I've had no problems with Japan Customs asking me for duty, as long as I keep my orders under about USD 100.
By Kirwoest on Thursday, February 7, 2008 - 9:06 pm:Puritan's Pride is now in Japan too. I recommend using them domestically, as the US branch charges a lot for shipping.
By Tesselator on Saturday, February 9, 2008 - 1:36 am:Mina: Yes. it's called shonyuu. Nancy: Aroe juice, Everywhere just about. Lenemala: Yes. Any drug-store and some larger grocery stores.
By Lseacord on Sunday, February 10, 2008 - 1:02 pm:On Puritan's Pride in Japan- be sure to compare prices before you decide to order from Japan rather than the USA. The price per unit (200 mcg) for the supplement I buy is 25 cents from Puritan USA vs. 57 yen from Puritan Japan. In other words, the price in Japan is TWICE the price in the USA. The shipping on my order was 15 USD for an order of about 100 USD.
