Be prepared for higher cost than in the U.S.

Be aware that if you have an accident:

1. You MUST get a police report no matter how minor - even if you scratch the car by yourself in the parking lot! (my experience)

2. If the car is out of service, you have to pay something like 20,000 or so EVEN IF you have taken insurance.
