Yellow Pages in English
By Sarah Calbreath on Friday, May 16, 2003 - 5:10 pm:I hear there are yellow pages in English. Where can I buy these? Do they have bilingual yellow pages for Kawasaki? Thanks, Sarah Please email me at dcalbreath@aol.com
By Natalia R. on Friday, May 16, 2003 - 5:46 pm:They should be available for free from an international centre, or something like that. They have two types: one for East and one for West Japan, usually there is only one type available. Their website: http://english.townpage.isp.ntt.co.jp/ (in case you want to check where to get them) Natalia from Hokkaido www.AGRIBUSINESS-for-all.com
By Emily Homma on Friday, May 16, 2003 - 10:02 pm: I saw some copies at Tobu Dept. Store (Foreign Books section) at Ikebukuro last year. It costs around 2,000~3,000 yen I think.
By Admin on Saturday, May 17, 2003 - 8:10 am:There are two English phone books available in Tokyo. The one by NTT is free (called Townpage) and you can send them a fax requesting it and it will be delivered. Then there is the commercial yellow pages which cost about Y2100. This information is written up on the NTT page under the FYI section of this website at: http://www.tokyowithkids.com/fyi/ntt.html
