By Shakiba Khan on Friday, August 19, 2005 - 5:19 pm:Hi all Does anybody know where in Tokyo I can buy Medical supplies such as Crutches etc. I know Hospitals let you rent them but I want to buy my own crutches as i am leaving the Country and I will need them on my journey. Thanks, Shakiba
By Scott Hancock on Friday, August 19, 2005 - 6:56 pm: Maybe Tokyu Hands...? (Never the cheapest place, though.)
By Cornelia on Friday, August 19, 2005 - 9:29 pm: The hospital should also be able to advise on purchase as well as rental. My hospital has the attached medical supplies shop accross the street next to the attached pharmacy. Also you could try posting here in the Wanted section of the Classifieds. A lot of people have a pair of crutches stored away that they might want to let go just to free up space.
