Rental Costumes
By Rach on Thursday, October 23, 2003 - 11:06 am: Can anyone suggest where I can rent a good quality costume for my child for Halloween at a reasonable cost?
By Admin on Thursday, October 23, 2003 - 12:52 pm:Dear Rach, if you look under the conversation Rental equipment companies (http://www.tokyowithkids.com/discussions/messages/333/622.html) there is a company that also rents costumes, but they would not be specifically for Halloween.
By Sandy Cox on Thursday, October 23, 2003 - 5:57 pm:Today, I saw large letters on the glass of the second floor over the entrance to the "Chicago" used clothing store in Harajuku saying "Costume Rental". That would be the same building where Dr. King has his office (Meiji dori at Jingumae station on the Chiyoda line). I did not have time to go check it out or get the phone number though. By Sandy Cox on Sunday, November 23, 2003 - 07:10 pm: I was in Harajuku again, so went and knocked on the door of this "Costume Rental" place. Well apparently they only supply outfits for filming studio(of advertisements and so forth). So they really only have something like production studios as their clients. Sorry about the false lead!
