Im due tom.(39wks ) and ive been suffering from painful internal vaginal checkups since Wednesday this week and then another today. The doctor is just too rough trying to reach my cervix or my baby's head. Its like im getting ripped wide open and i feel like im devirginized.Its just too painful and i think its called Membrane Sweep. He is trying to reach the baby and every time he does it he inserts a certain medicine inside. this is my first pregnancy and i dont understand all of the medical terms. I bumped into a pregnancy chatroom and they think that what they are doing on me is a Membrane Sweep. its too painful and i feel like my vagina is going to be wrecked.I had some bleeding and i feel soreness after ( today ) but now im OK. its just that its traumatic and they give me scheds on when to go again and that would be on Monday. I have to experience the Internal Vaginal check up three times a week until the 26th of May..after that they would induce me or worse comes to worse a Csection procedure.
Can anybody help me what is membrane sweep in Japanese and if what they are doing to me is sweeping my membrane ??? thankyou.
