Hello! I am having a guest and have no where to put them in my small apt so I want to rent a futon set but have no idea from where, and I really need to do it in English! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks. I just called them but they don't do weekly rentals and they don't have any futons. I thought it was common to rent household items in Japan for short periods due to shortage of space.

Since I speak Japanese, I can't really help you on English speaking rentals, but here is a list of futon rental companies I found through a very quick internet search.

The 2nd row from the left are the names of the rental companies. The top 2 names are out of the metropolitan. The 3rd name is in Saitama, the 4th in Chiba, and Tokyo starts from the 5th.

I'm not sure if any of them speak English, but I'm afraid that's as far as I can help you as for now. Good luck! I've rented some futons once from I forgot where, and it was super convenient!
