* Mitsubishi Motors Trouble Continues In a continuation of the Mitsubishi claim cover-up story, a Kumamoto woman has reported that the engine of her Lancer stopped suddenly on the highway leading to an accident this summer. Mitsubishi recalled all Lancers built in between September 1995 and February 1999 in order to repair deficiencies found in the model's engine. A similar deficiency however was found [in] the Kumamoto woman's Lancer which was built in September of 1999 and therefore casts doubt on whether Mitsubishi and Lancer owners woes are over. Mitsubishi is investigating the cause of the failure.
