Software in tokyo
By liza kanazawa on Sunday, February 18, 2001 - 1:16 am: Can anyone tell me where i can buy english software(games etc.) here in Tokyo?
By Scott Hancock on Sunday, February 18, 2001 - 1:28 am: The largest selection I know is at T-Zone main store in Akihabara. PC versions on the main software floor in a section in the back. Mac stuff is on the "import" floor. As usual, there is more PC than Mac.

By Scotth on Sunday, August 28, 2005 - 10:31 pm:There is now a small shop that carries a limited selection of English software, as well as a decent selection of English hardware (laptops). It's in Ebisu. Their info is at: http://www.users-side.co.jp/index_eng.php They also do hardware support, even if you did not buy the equipment there.
By Scott Hancock on Sunday, October 9, 2005 - 8:15 pm: Newly discovered source for some English software. LAOX main Computer Kan in Akihabara has a good selection of the main Microsoft applications, a few Adobe and a few odd bits related to Japanese on English OS. Prices are a bit higher than you woud find in the U.S.. But, at least they are available if you're in a pinch. I'm told there are more stores in Akihabara stocking English, so I'll look some more and report.
