Japan With Kids - Forums: Consumer Reports: Restaurants: Burmese
By Cornelia on Friday, September 26, 2003 - 11:08 pm:

Burmese food: My daughter loves curries. We are not from India (or Sri Lanka)! And I don't make them at home usually. But when I ask where shall we eat on restaurant nights it's always "Indian". Well, we often go to the area around Takadanobaba because there are a lot of ethnic restaurants there that have curries. Nepalese and Burmese food also includes a curry dishes as well. We found a Burmese restaurant on the same floor as Yeti restaurant where there is a little girl pretty much every night to play with (her mother works there). I just can't remember the name of the restaurant but here is the address:
2-14-8-3F Takadanobaba, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo

If you are interested in Burmese food go to: http://www.ayeyarwady.com/index-e.htm which is published in part by a Japanese photographer in love with Burma and see his list of restaurants (clickable link lowest left corner)
