A bilingual(J&E)Japanese mother of 20 months old boy, looking for a playgroup or playmates in the area of Yokohama and Kamakura. (We live in Konandai)
Please let me know if you know any playgroups or interested in making a brand new one! I used to live in NY and LA for 10 years. Not just for my son but I'd also like to become friends with an English speaking Mom!!

We are looking for members of Higashi-totsuka playgroup.
There are only few members now.
All memberes live in Higashi-totsuka, but we don't care about where you live.
Let's go to park and public playroom somewhere in Yokohama or Kamakura.
We usually meet on 2nd and 4th Wednesday.

We are an American-Japanese couple with 3-yr-old /5-yr-old boys living in Sagamihara. Yes, there is an (English-speaking) Boy
Scout and Cub Scout Troop in the Yokohama area!
International Boy Scouts IBS Troop 1 -- the 1st and oldest International Boy Scout troop in the World! -- is looking for a few good (young) men.
Where: Yokohama Country & Athletic Club in Yamate
(7-minute walk from JR Yamate station/free parking available, too)
When: 1:30~3:00 pm, every other Sunday
Requirements: Boys only. Child must be able to speak English.
Dues/uniform: Annual membership dues at only 10,000 yen; purchase of uniform required (about 7,000 yen).
Activities include: hiking, camping, soccer and other physical activities, orienteering, rank advancement, pinewood derby races, knot tying, parade marching, etc.
Note: You do not need to be a member of the YC&AC to join IBS.
