Feb 12th, Afternoon Tea Club

Japan With Kids - Forums: General Discussions: Feb 12th, Afternoon Tea Club
By Richard Mort on Monday, February 6, 2006 - 12:05 pm:

Hi there,

Love tea? Scones? Afternoon tea? Clotted cream? Relaxing and chatting on a Sunday?

I organize an afternoon tea club every month, totally non-profit, simply a chance for people to relax, enjoy great scones, tea, cakes and conversation in a nice hotel or restaurant in Tokyo.
(more details and photos on request)

This month, it's the Four Seasons at Chinzanso and there are still some places available. Foreign or Japanese are both most welcome.

Please let me know if you'd like to come and give me the full names of all attending. I'll organize this every month so if you can't make it this month, please feel free to get in touch anyway!

Thanks
Richard

FEBRUARY AFTERNOON TEA CLUB

Hey folks!

ONI WA SOTO TEA WA UCHI.
I hope you are all enjoying 2006 so far.
We had a fantastic afternoon tea club last time and you can see pictures here: (thanks to Yukari)

This was the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

Right between the bean-throwing season change festival and just before Valentine's Day 2006, a chance for some early chocolate, tea, scones and back in the location where I held my very first afternoon tea club, the Four Seasons Tokyo CHINZANSO. Please note, NOT FOUR SEASONS MARUNOUCHI, but the original FOUR SEASONS in Chinzanso, Tokyo.

Date: SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2006

I want you to enjoy the BEST place for afternoon tea in Four Seasons, which is LE JARDIN. Description: "Wall-to-wall windows welcome in the beauty of the surrounding gardens in this bright airy room, located on the third floor. Ideal for afternoon tea or evening cocktails."

LE JARDIN = 3rd floor, next to the main lobby

** IMPORTANT **
Because it's Sunday and busy, I can have a maximum of 20 people per session. I hope we will have 40 people so 2 sessions from 1.30-3.30pm and 4.30-6.30pm. Like this:

A Session: 1.30-3.30pm

B Session: 4.30-6.30pm

Please tell me A session or B session so I can plan - thank you very much!

ALSO:
There will be a tour of the hotel special conservatory room (with little in-room garden) and the NEW SPA which opened last November 2005.

Menu and Price are being negotiated now, please wait for further details.

LOCATION DETAILS:

Best to take TAXI OR BUS from MEJIRO station (Yamanote line) or EDOGAWABASHI station (Yurakucho subway line).

Hi there,

Is your afternoon tea club still running? Are these events also infant friendly?
