We will be called for a family interview from an International school soon. I know there is dress code for Japanese schools when you are meeting school authorities... is there such a dress code for the first formal meeting or family interview for international schools too??

What about the dress code for a private Japanese school on the day of the entrance exam and interview?

I know this is a bit late, but maybe someone else can benefit -- for Japanese private schools, kids are usually dressed in dark blue suits -- I've been looking into girls outfits and the common attire is navy blue jumper skirt, white blouse and navy blue jacket.

For parents suits are suggested -- brown, gray, dk. blue. Colors which are more subtle and don't stand out very much.
