URGENT: Does anyone knows where to buy AVENT bottles for newborns in Tokyo, or online with shipment to Tokyo?

You can get Avent products online at the Foreign Buyer's Club Britshop. They're not cheap, but delivery is in about 10 days, and I've found the service very reliable. This is the page with Avent bottles and so on:

You can buy them from babycenter.com and have them shipped to you via expatexpress. If you go to www.expatexpress.com you can then register and find babycenter in their affiliate stores. Usually takes between a week and 10 days to arrive.

We are using the AVENT bottles. Our daycare has just asked us to get faster-flowing nipples. Looking for a store that sells the Medium flow (3holes) or Fast flow (4holes) nipples. Anybody know if JUSTCO, ITOYOKADO, TOYSRUS, or AKACHAN HONPO carry AVENT?

Also, has anyone found the Playtex "TIPPY CUPS" selling anywhere in Japan?

First I would make sure that they use the bottles properly. If they close the bottles to tight the air flow is blocked and it is hard to drink on any nipple.

Some avent things are available from amazon.co.jp (though not the nipples you are looking for).

Baby's'Us started selling Avent since this spring. They have everything but unfortunately not online.

Last month I saw Playtex Tippy cups sold at Costco. They were sold in packs of 4. Inventory changes frequently so I'm not sure whether they still have them but the last 2 shopping trips to Costco, they had them in stock.

Re Babies R Us - there is a new branch at Kinshicho (on the JR Sobu/Hanzomon lines) which opened a month or two ago and is easy to get to if you are anywhere in central Tokyo. There is also an Akachan Honpo right by Kinshicho station, so it's easy to do comparison shopping.

but that would definitely be a more expensive option - it might work out cheaper just to buy a few domestic brand cups. We used the Combi ones that work a bit like Avent with a range of different nipples and spouts fitting on the basic cup for babies/toddlers.

I have been to Akachan Honpo at Kinshicho but where is Babies R Us?? I haven't seen it. Bethan can you please give me the exact address of it or indication on how to get there from Kinshicho station? I looked online also but I haven't found the one in Kinshicho...

Babies R Us Kinshicho - in case anyone can't read the Japanese map on the website, it is about a five minute walk north of JR Kinshicho station - you walk past the park on your right, and it is in a big, brand new shopping centre just past the park. There are various other child-friendly shops in the same complex, plus restaurants, cinemas and so on.
