Barnes & Noble and stealing

Japan With Kids - Forums: Consumer Reports: Bookstores, Libraries and Books via Internet Shopping: Barnes & Noble and stealing
By Lea on Thursday, October 19, 2000 - 6:29 am:

I made the mistake of ordering books from Barnes and Noble using their International Air Express. This is expensive but I needed the books in a hurry.

Ever since doing that, my next orders to Barnes and Noble (there have been two ) are automatically billed at the more expensive shipping rate...EVEN WHEN I CLICK THE INTERNATIONAL SURFACE OPTION B&N processes the bill to my charge card using the most expensive Air Express rate.

Watch Barnes and Noble VERY carefully. Along with Amazon's on-line practice of charging certain customers more than others for the same book it seems that Barnes and Noble is also attempting to manipulate a customer's charge card
