Dear Members & Friends,

We are all stunned by the horrendous, terrorist attack against the United States. Some of us may have lost relatives and friends. All of us have lost the sense of security and freedom of movement that existed prior to the attack.

Along with decent people the world over, we mourn for the innocent people killed in this attack. We want to offer prayers for the recovery of the injured and wounded. We wish to pray for the well being of the United States.

Therefore, I urge you to attend services on Friday night at 6:30 PM. In addition to the usual Kabbalat Shabbat worship, we shall add thoughts and prayers relevant to the unfolding events in the United States.
