Yay, a fellow Kiwi in Chiba!

Been to Chiba zoo about 3 times, only ever by train though, which doesn't take too long.
My 8 year old went there with his school recently and loves the Red Panda that stands on its legs. Very leafy, great for the hotter months.
Would otherwise recommend going to Ueno, much more to look at.
